We are excited to announce one of our original Cannon players Culver Bradbury will join our Cannons Coaching Staff for the upcoming 2016-2017 Season.
Bradbury, a Calvert County local, excelled in both football and lacrosse at Huntingtown High School. A midfielder and 4-year varsity starter and captain, Bradbury earned All-American Honors and was named Player of the Year his senior year. He continued on to play Division I Lacrosse at Jacksonville University under former Coach Matthew Kerwick. While playing lacrosse all four years at Jacksonville, Bradbury earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science with a focus on Kinesiology. Bradbury brings over 10 years of training experience with football and lacrosse players, coaching and training club teams such as LB3 and JLC in Florida.
In 2015 Bradbury was a JV Lacrosse Head Coach at Nease High School in Florida before returning to Maryland in 2016 where he was hired as a Varsity Assistant Coach at his former Huntingtown High School. Bradbury has coached alongside University of Maryland strength and conditioning Coach Rick Sneade, where he developed his passion for strength and conditioning that he incorporates into his coaching style. He brings a great deal of enthusiasm to any program he touches and we are excited to have him back home in Southern Maryland working with the Cannons program and helping to grow the sport he loves.
Culver Bradbury will be coaching the Cannons 2019/2020 HS Blue Team this fall and looks forward to becoming more involved in the Cannons youth program and the day-to-day operations of the Cannons program. Culver will also be playing on the Cannons Alumni Team at the Ocean City Classic Lacrosse Tournament later this month. Welcome Home, Culver Bradbury!
